This set is my donation to the Sarlacc Pit Podcast's Pre-Fan Days party this Friday night, in Irving Texas! SPP was awesome to invite me, so I was more than happy to supply them with some cards for a giveaway. Chris from the podcast asked me to make the theme Star Wars Blu-Ray'd, so here we go!

BLINKING EWOKS!

Ben Kenobi screaming like a lunatic!

R2 hiding behind Photoshopped rocks!

Vader yelling "NOOOOOOOOOO!" at the end of ROTJ!

I really wanted to keep them light-hearted since a lot of folks are torn about how they feel about all of the changes to the saga that've been made. But hey, it's all fiction, so take what you like and ignore the rest, right? =)

Fun stuff! Yeah, even though I don't own a Blu-Ray player or a PS3, if I had the money to spare I'd have still purchased the box set just for the Special Features alone. Blue Ray format still looks kinda hella funny to me from some of the film footage I've seen in stores.
As for the four scenes depicted here, the Kenobi Krayt Dragon call I'd have left alone. The original sounded way more intimidating. And, I didn't even know about this R2 scene until just now...but "R2 against the rocks" still looks more awesome than "R2 behind the rocks", imo. But, yeah, take in some, reject the rest...lol

Hell yeah man, the special features are amazing. I'm still scratching my head from some of the changes to the films, but whatever, it is what it is! haha

Holy crap it's blinking!

These looks fantastic, man! I need to watch the OT before I watch the BluRay version, just to compare and feel cool. (And I like what you said about "take what you like and ignore the rest" because at the end of the day, it's still fiction. :))
