Commish - 501st Rescue by JoeHoganArt Commish - 501st Rescue by JoeHoganArt
Commish for :icontheirishrogue:!

Jedi masters A'Sharad Hett and Sakiko are just about out of juice until the 501st swooshes in to help kick some booty!

You'll recognize Sakiko, of course, from her creator :iconkaelacroftart:. Hope she digs!

question! How do you do a piece like this? do you draw all the characters and back ground separate then add them in or do you simply do it in layers?

Hey there! Sorry for the late reply. Typically I sketch everything on separate layers until the composition looks good to me. Then, most characters are their own group of layers so that I can change lighting and other effects to give the illusion of depth between the groups of layers. Hope that helps!

Do you have all the equipment? I use Photoshop and a Cintiq monitor but you can use a tablet for the drawing part!
